TROAS. Alexandria Troas. Pseudo-autonomous issue. 'As' (Bronze, 20 mm, 5.89 g, 1 h), mid 3rd century AD. CO TRO AV Turreted and draped bust of the city-goddess to right, with vexillum inscribed CO / AV behind. Rev. COL AVG / TRO She-wolf standing right, head turned back to left, suckling the twins Romulus and Remus. Bellinger A495. Patina stripped and the obverse corroded, otherwise, about very fine.
